Happy New Year!
Can’t believe it’s New year again.
Year 2018 had been great for me, I would say. Although there’s up and down throughout the year, I made it alive! haha
To sum it up, I traveled to 3 countries (Thailand, Maldives & Singapore), camp out and went for roadtrip with different group of friends and met tons of new people from different regions.
Best of all, I celebrated my 30th Birthday at one of my dream destination, MALDIVES!
What more can I asked for!
As for the new year, great start for 2019 for me so far.
I got a new job!
Cheer to that!
I’m back to Oil & Gas industry and i’ll be making use of my education. Finally!
Oh, my salary is almost double than my previous salary. So yeah, more travel trip!!!
Looking forward for what 2019 will bring.

One of those words that I think no longer exist in my life dictionary. I’m not a morning person, yes, I admit it.
Being one of those people who often sleep after midnight (I’m not sure if I have Insomnia coz I only have trouble sleeping if the Internet or my phone are around..), waking up early is totally not ‘suitable’ for us.
And as far as I remember, I only wake up early whenever I travel. You just can’t seem to waste your time with sleeping when you have tons of things to do & places to visit, right? 🙂
But Guess what?! I woke up at 5am today. I went for 1 and a half jog with my bro (we’ve been always planned to do this), did some workout, enjoyed my breakfast (Thanks Mum!) before work and even showed up at work 40 minutes earlier, which is totally different from my usual morning.
Started the work feeling so motivated at first but as soon as the clock approaching 10am, I’m starting to feel tired and my eyes is getting really heavy. I’M FALLING ASLEEP! I’m not the type of person that usually feel sleepy at work. Well, I do yawned sometimes but my eyes are usually wide open.
Felt like I’m struggling between trying to keep up with my work and sleeping. Worst is, I became so grumpy and I can’t concentrate. Guess waking up early is really not my kind of thing. Or the changes are so drastic that I need to keep on doing it (
which I will if I feel like it) to actually get used to it.
Hmm.. we’ll see.. One thing for sure now is that all my plans for tonight are cancelled and i’m going to hit the sack as early as I can!
But In Reality…
What I really need right now!!
Lunch. Time to ZZZzzzzzzz…. x.X

FML! F*ck My Life!
I’ve always wanted to change my blog’s url from wanderlustoverloaded.wordpress.com to just wanderlustoverloaded.com. By doing that, I need to have a domain, which is something that you need to pay to get it. I read somewhere that you actually get it for free but it’s too hassle & lots of things need to do..
After making so many ‘domain research’ on which webhost that is best for wordpress blog, I decided to choose Bluehost. Bluehost offered $3.49* per month instead of $5.99 per month. So, I thought, “wow, that’s cheap. let’s try it for a month!”
I was hesitated to buy it at first but then I thought “It’s only for a month, so, what the heck right.” Few minutes after I made the payment, I got a confirmation from the bank saying that I made payment of $125.64. F**ccckkk!
Silly me, I pay for 36 months ($125.64, including other hidden charges) instead of paying for a month ($3.49)!!
I got my domain name but it link to a new WordPress blog. Which means, I need to start from zero. The worst thing is, I cannot directly change my existing WordPress domain name. I need to ‘map’ my existing WordPress blog to my own domain & will cost me $13.00 for 1 year subscription! Whattttt?!!!!
After few hours of trying to ‘solve’ the problem, I realized that it’s way cheaper and easier to just upgrade for ‘Premium’ on WordPress (cost only $99 per year) where you get your own domain name, powerful customization options and lots of space for audio and video. Guess I didn’t do enough ‘research’ on that.. Oh, My monnnneyyy!
I could actually use the money to travel to Taiwan or other South East Asian countries!! T.T
Do any of you guys know how to change the domain name (if you already bought your own domain name) without paying anything or maybe know where I can sell back the domain as I won’t be using it anyway?
Your help will very much appreciated! Thanks in advance! 🙂

Yup, I think this picture literally explained my current condition. I have lots of this to do! Deadlines, deadlines!
I’ve been working full-time & part-time with the same company for past 2 and a half years. And as much as I hate to admit it, I’ve been always ‘dream’ of quitting this job thousand of times but I just can’t seems to let go.
Yes, the salary is considered as what most people called ‘high-paid salary’, the boss is okay (sometimes can be the pain in the ass! especially when it comes to deadlines. Which bosses, doesn’t right?) and my colleagues are among of the coolest people I’ve ever met. Not to forget, we are allowed to get in anytime we want as long as we finish our work or replaced the ‘missing hour’ after office hour.
“Having a job that’s menial or one that lacks variety can lead to stress as it does not match your knowledge and abilities..”
This job i’m currently having is actually have nothing to do with my major back in the university. Let just say, I got stumble upon into this job by luck. I’ve always tried to apply for the job in my major’s line but it’s all to no avail. They prefer those with experiences.
STRESS = The confusion created when one’s mind overrides the body’s basic desire to choke the living shit out of some asshole who desperately deserves it.
Well for me, I rarely complained about my work. I think this is the first time I actually saying it out loud (on the internet of course..)
According to Confucius, “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” Sadly, up until today, I still trying to figure out my dream job or job that i’ll consider love doing it. I actually never have one my whole life.
I envy those who’ve found out their dream job, following/pursuing their passion and living/enjoying it every moment.
